Knit 1: Foundations

Designed for absolute beginners, or anyone rediscovering this beautiful craft, this course introduces you to the essential skills of modern knitting in a fun, supportive environment.

Over two sessions, you’ll learn how to cast on, knit and purl stitches, increase and decrease, and how to cast off and finish your knitting. You’ll also learn simple troubleshooting skills so you can confidently fix common mistakes as you go.

All techniques are taught using circular needles, giving you a versatile foundation for future projects.

You’ll emerge with a solid understanding of knitting fundamentals, a workbook of techniques, and the confidence to begin your first project!

The class is taught by Zoe, who has many years of experience as both a knitter and a teacher. 

Materials included: Chiaogoo bamboo circular knitting needles, 2 balls of Woolly (100% pure wool yarn), stitch markers, and a darning needle.
