Crochet 1: Foundations

Designed for absolute beginners, or anyone looking to strengthen their crochet basics, this course introduces you to the essential techniques of modern crochet in a relaxed, step-by-step format.

Over two sessions, you’ll learn how to create a foundation chain, work essential stitches (double, half treble, and treble), change colours, make simple granny squares, and read basic crochet terminology.

You’ll build confidence working through foundational skills that set you up for independent project work.

Upon completion of this course you’ll leave with a workbook of techniques, your own set of samples, and the confidence to begin your first crochet projects at home.

The class is taught by Zoe, who has many years of experience as both a crocheter and a teacher. 

Materials included: Clover Amour crochet hook, 2 balls of 100% pure wool yarn, stitch markers, and a darning needle.
