Crochet 2: Your First Beret!
Designed for students who have completed Crochet 1: Foundations, or anyone comfortable with basic stitches and ready to work in the round, this course guides you through creating a structured wearable project.
Over two sessions, you’ll crochet the elegant Sofie Beret by Susanne Muller while learning essential techniques including the magic circle, shaping through increases and decreases, and working a ribbed stitch pattern. You’ll also build confidence following written crochet patterns, and we’ll touch on charts too!
You’ll leave with a finished beret and the skills to approach more complex crochet garments and accessories with confidence.
The class is taught by Zoe, who has many years of experience as both a crocheter and a teacher.
Materials included: 3.50mm and 4.00mm Clover Amour crochet hook, 2 balls of Chaska Wara (baby alpaca/merino/pima cotton blend), and pattern.
Choose your colours of Wara at the beginning of the class!
