Tussah Tweed
Tussah Tweed is a beautiful, soft yarn made of super strong Wild Silk. The tweed adds little pops of fluff and variation, creating a playful and incredibly tactile texture. Tussah Tweed is made from Tussah Silk, a cruelty-free silk sourced from cocoons where the silk worms have already left the cocoon before processing into fibre.
It is available in many beautiful colours, ranging from soft pastels and fun brights, to rich and yummy jewel tones. It would be a lovely summer yarn knit or crocheted up at a loose and airy gauge, perfect for light garments and shawls. It would also be fantastic in woven projects like wraps, scarves or fabric, just watch the gorgeous textures shine!
