The Linear Socks are a design created by Purl Foundry - this pattern comes in a beautifully design folded printed pattern that fits into your project bag easily!

The unisex Linear Sock pattern features wide panels of knit and narrow grooves of purl that gently curve around the heel. Enjoy crisp lines and graceful shaping in the top-down pattern to keep your feet cosy and warm.

Designed to be worn with approx 2-3 cm / 0.75 - 1.25" of negative ease.

Fit & Yarn Details

I recommend a 4ply yarn with wool and nylon. The wool is good for warmth and structure while the nylon adds durability.

Sock Circumference: cm = 17.5 (20, 22.5, 25) / inches = 7 (8, 9, 10)

Gauge: 32 sts x 40 rows in the Linear stitch pattern

Needles: 2.25 mm / US1 circular needles

Metres = 230 (275, 320, 365) / Yards = 250 (300, 350, 400)
