As far as well named sock yarns go, you can't beat Meia - it's Portuguese for sock, but it could also be Portuguese for soft, smooth and just begging to be knit up!
This lovely soft yarn is a mixture of 70% wool and 30% nylon, making for a cosy yet strong sock. The earthy colour palette lends itself beautifully to colourwork socks, or make a statement textured pair in your favourite shade.
For both women's and men's socks, we recommend that you use 75 grams, or 2 balls.
You can also use this lovely yarn for garments such as shawls, sweaters and children's wear!
