Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond is a beautiful tweedy yarn that looks rustic but is actually rather soft to the touch! Being woollen spun, this yarn is light, airy and lofty when worked up, making it perfect for creating more traditional looking garments (including colourwork ones!) that have a more modern, gentle feel to the fabric. All the heritage, none of the scratchiness!
This very British looking yarn is great for anybody who loves a bit of nep in their life - the tweedy neps add life and colour to this gorgeous wool, and it would be great in anything from traditional Shetland jumpers to shawls, beanies and vests. Designs with cables would also look amazing in this yarn!
The yarn is also GOTS certified - this certification means that from sheep to dye studio, from production to stock keeping and packing, each step is inspected carefully and in line with very strict organic and social standards.
