Knitting socks is great fun, they can be simple, intricate, colourful, quick, and they make great travel projects. They are wonderfully cozy to wear and make fantastic gifts too. But, they have some unique techniques and can be a bit tricky when you're first learning.
In this class we will guide you through the basics of knitting your socks from the toe up. Techniques include Judy's Magic Cast-On, a refresher or intro to Magic Loop, a short row heel and some stretchy bind off's. So come along and learn knit your own pair of comfy socks!
This class will be run over two Saturdays, and there may be some knitting time required during the week.
Difficulty: Adventurous beginners
When: Saturday May 4th AND 11th from 11:00-1:00
OR Saturday May 18th AND 25th from 2:00-4:00
To Bring: 8ply yarn, 3.50mm 80cm circular needles, darning needle
